Negligence is omission to do something, which a reasonable and prudent person would do, or doing something, which a reasonable and prudent person would not do. Negligence is simply neglect of some care, which we are bound to exercise towards somebody. e.g. accountant, doctor, or solicitor failing to properly advise or a driver driving carelessly causing accident.
